Nothing is written to your device. You can read every page, run a full website analysis, use every free tool and submit an enquiry without a single cookie being set.

This is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly. The reason is that we have no advertising to target, no cross-site profiling to build, and no third-party marketing technology embedded in the site. The notice you may have seen asks about one thing only — Google Analytics — rather than presenting a wall of vendors to work through.

We do keep a count of page visits, and it is worth being precise about how, because it is the reason this site can leave you alone until you choose otherwise.

When you open a page, the address of that page is sent to this website’s own server, along with whether it was the page you arrived on, the external website you followed a link from if there was one, and any campaign tags in the address bar. From the connection itself we derive two further things: a device category — mobile, tablet or desktop — and a two-letter country code, where the network in front of us supplies one.

Nothing is written to your device to do this: no cookie, no local storage, no identifier of any kind. Nothing links one page to the next, or one visit to another, or any of it to you. Your IP address is used to limit abuse of the service and is not recorded against the count. There is no third-party script involved — the request goes to this domain, and the figures are held by Genyra, which operates this website.

Because it stores nothing and identifies nobody, this counting does not require your consent and is not something the choice below turns off. It is described here rather than asked about because there is nothing to ask.

If you are asked about analytics and respond, your answer is stored in your browser’s local storage under the key ixseo-analytics-consent. It records only granted or denied.

It exists so you are not asked repeatedly. It is not a cookie, is not transmitted to us, contains nothing that identifies you, and is readable only by this website. Clearing your browser storage removes it and you will be asked again.

With consent, Google Analytics 4 is loaded and may set its own cookies to distinguish sessions. It records a small set of enumerated events:

• that an analysis was started or completed
• which modules were selected, as a count and list of names
• that an executive report or consultation was requested
• that a free tool was used, and which one
• that a report page was viewed

Findings, scores, website content, email addresses, message contents and any exposure information are never sent to analytics. The events above are the complete list, and the code that sends them is constrained to it.

Without consent, no analytics script is loaded at all. It is not loaded in a disabled state — the request is never made.

Where configured, verification tokens for Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools are served as static meta tags. These are inert strings that let those services confirm we control this domain. They set nothing, track nothing and do not vary by visitor.

Use the controls below. Whichever way you decide, it takes effect immediately: the analytics storage signal is updated and no further events are sent.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not break anything on this site, because nothing here depends on them.
