Pricing

Professional engagements, scoped against the work

IXSEO is a service rather than a platform, so there are no tiers, no seat counts and no features withheld behind an upgrade. There is a scope, a fee and a written statement of what is included.

Publishing a price for website assessment is difficult to do honestly. The same engagement on a twelve-page consultancy site and a twelve-thousand-page catalogue differ by an order of magnitude in effort, and a figure that covers both is either wrong for one or padded for the other.

So rather than a number that would be revised in nearly every conversation, this page sets out the packages, what determines cost, and what every proposal will state explicitly.

What is available

Enterprise Website Intelligence

Custom proposal

For multiple sites, complex architectures, several territories or stakeholder groups who need different views of the same assessment.

  • Custom scope agreed in advance
  • Multiple properties or territories
  • Complex architecture and migration contexts
  • Stakeholder-specific reporting
  • Extended review and presentation

Suits: Organisations whose scale makes a standard engagement the wrong shape.

Managed SEO & GEO

Monthly — custom proposal

Ongoing strategy, implementation and reporting run as a continuing engagement, with somebody accountable for the work actually happening.

  • Quarterly strategy and priority review
  • Technical monitoring and resolution
  • Content commissioning, briefing and editing
  • Entity and structured data maintenance
  • Monthly reporting on work, expectation and outcome
  • A named lead who knows the account

Suits: Organisations where capacity rather than knowledge is the binding constraint.

Where a full assessment is not warranted, we would rather say so than sell one. A client who was told they did not need the larger engagement tends to come back.

Cost

What moves the figure

These are the variables that make a single published price impossible, and every one of them is discussed before a proposal is issued.

Site size and complexity

A twelve-page site and a large catalogue with faceted navigation are different exercises. Templates matter more than page counts, but both count.

Module scope

Four modules or eleven. Email, DNS and exposure work adds specialist review and, where relevant, verification.

Advisory or implementation

Whether we specify changes for your team to make, make them ourselves, or some combination of the two.

Competitor comparison

Whether a comparison is included, and how many competitors are assessed. Three is the usual and sensible number.

Territories and languages

Multi-region sites add regional declaration review and duplicate work across each variant.

Reporting requirements

Whether the standard report suffices, or several stakeholder groups need different views of the same assessment.

Not sure which applies? Run a free snapshot first. It costs nothing and usually makes the right next step obvious.

Frequently asked questions

Why are there no prices on this page?
Because publishing a figure that we would then have to revise in nearly every conversation would be misleading. The variables — site size, module scope, whether implementation is included, how many territories — move the figure enough that a single number would be a fiction. Every proposal states what is included, what is not, and what would change the cost.
What determines the price?
Principally the size and complexity of the website, which modules are in scope, whether verification and infrastructure work is involved, how many competitors are compared, and whether we are advising or implementing. A ten-page site and a ten-thousand-page catalogue are different pieces of work.
Do you offer a subscription?
Not in the software sense. There is no platform to license, no seat count and no feature tier. Managed SEO and GEO is a continuing professional engagement billed monthly, which is a different thing from a subscription with usage limits.
Can we start small?
Yes, and most do. The free snapshot costs nothing, and an Essential audit is a proportionate first engagement for a smaller site. Where a full assessment is not warranted, we would rather say so than sell one.
How do you bill?
Fixed-fee assessments are billed on delivery unless agreed otherwise. Ongoing engagements are billed monthly in advance. Everything is agreed in writing before work begins, and no engagement carries an automatic renewal you have to remember to cancel.
What if we are not satisfied?
Tell us specifically what fell short and we will address it. Findings carry their evidence precisely so disagreements can be resolved on substance. We do not offer a guarantee of results, because outcomes depend on third parties, but we do stand behind the quality of the work.
